Make Your Own Keihin Float Gauge

One of our own took the time to measure the factory tool. Here are the images he provided so you can make your own.


Above is the Repair Manual procedure for setting the float height, showing the factory tool.

The below series of images show the critical measurements so that you can, with a little creativity, duplicate this simple tool:


This part (above) rides along the carburetor base. Hence the floats should be sitting 3mm above the base holding them upside down
